Our History

In December of 1956, a group of sixteen dedicated parents came together with a steadfast belief in establishing a school for their children with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Since then, Thrive Community Services has undergone many changes, but our beliefs have stayed true as we continually strive to provide the best services we can for the individuals we serve. Today, we provide a variety of services for over 300 adults who have intellectual and/or developmental disabilities.
